Prior to forming Guardian Equity, Barry Kromann was a leading Tarrant County banking executive for 35 years serving as Market President for First National Bank, Area President for Independent Financial and EVP with Texas Capital Bank and VP with Bank One (now JP Morgan). Barry has been an active real estate investor for well over 20 years while participating in over 90 commercial real estate transactions including multi-family, industrial and office representing over $4 billion in assets.
Barry was a 1998 and 2002 Fort Worth Business Press “40 Under 40” honoree and has served in multiple community non-profit leadership roles. He graduated summa cum laude with a BBA/Finance degree from Texas Tech University. He married his high school sweetheart, Vaughna, and they have been married for 37 years with three children and one grandchild.

As a co-founder of Guardian Equity, Blake Lloyd brings over 23 years of experience in the real estate and equity industry. Blake is focused on value-add commercial real estate properties including multi-family, industrial, retail and office. Prior to forming Guardian Equity, Blake was a principal in a private equity company that had over 44 properties consisting of a little over $1.5 billion in assets. He began his career in real estate with the Trammell Crow Company which then merged with CBRE. He was responsible for property acquisitions, dispositions and tenant representation across the US representing over $1billion in transaction value.
Blake received his BBA/Finance degree from Texas Tech University. He holds a Texas Real Estate License and is a member of the Texas Association of Realtors. Blake has contributed significant time to local charities and is a graduate of the Leadership Fort Worth Class of 2004-2005. Blake and his wife, Chesleigh and their son, B.A. live in his hometown of Fort Worth, and he enjoys spending free time outdoors with his family.

Guardian Equity was chosen as our name to signify our intent to safeguard and grow the assets of those who partner with us. Unlike a traditional fund, we offer stand-alone investments, allowing investors to participate in each opportunity individually, with a typical minimum investment of $50,000.
